hulloooo peeeepolee!!! i'm back! ok fine i was back about a week ago la. haha. i had a wonderful time is melbourne... weather's pretty cold, esp when the wind is strong. the city was experiencing a gale one night; pretty scary! the lamp posts and trees were swaying non-stop, leaves and plastic bags and newspapers were all spinning in the air. and because of the strong winds, it resulted in a cracked window pane in the office opposite his apartment. the whole street was cordoned off. haha! so exciting.
sigh... i'm suffering from post-melbourne syndrome. haha. i'm just missing walking down the streets with him (people walk a lot in aussie), keeping warm with him, spending time with him, and basically just him. ok fine, maybe it's post-joel syndrome. but then again, it's really about melbourne + him. mebbe it's post-joel-melbourne syndrome. argh, whatever.
i really can't wait to go over. but of cos i'll miss ernie and shu back in sg! haha... but it's just about a whole new experience. something which absolutely cannot be experience locally. join a protest or something! party on the uni grounds! watch people get drunk on the field! laugh at the mascots during the annual 'sex it up' week! (the mascots last year were a penis chasing after a vagina. muahahahaha...) think about that happening in singapore. NEVER.
love this song... liz's recommendation. this acoustic version is a little on the soft rock side. my absolute favourite. it's an ear-worm!!! argh...
